Institutional Need Analysis System (INAS)

College Board provides INAS, the Institutional Need Analysis System, software to colleges and universities for their use in their financial aid processes. It permits financial aid professionals to calculate and recalculate expected family contributions. College Board licenses the software to higher education institutions. Except as otherwise permitted by FERPA and other applicable laws, College Board does not use the data, including any personally identifiable information, input into the software by these institutions for its own purposes.
