National Recognition Programs

The College Board National Recognition Programs create pathways to college for underrepresented students by awarding them academic honors and connecting them with universities across the country.

We use the information that you and your school, district, or state provide to us as part of the PSAT/NMSQT, PSAT 10, and/or AP Exams and your score(s) on those tests to determine and contact you about your potential eligibility for the National Recognition Programs. We may share this information and your eligibility with your school and district.

If you apply, we will collect limited personal information to confirm your eligibility and administer the National Recognition Programs. The information you provide, and your recognition status, may be shared with your high school and district and may be shared with colleges and universities if you participate in our voluntary Student Search Service™ or to verify your recognition status. If we have an email for your parent or guardian and/or school counselor, we may reach out to them to let them know you are eligible and share your application and recognition status.
