CSS Profile and IDOC

CSS Profile is an online application used by colleges and scholarship programs to collect your personal and financial information to award non-federal institutional aid. CSS Profile collects the following information: first and last name, address, telephone number, date of birth, anticipated graduation date, family financial information (such as income, assets, and tax information), and citizenship. You may also be directed to submit required documents to the Institutional Documentation Service (IDOC), which may include additional personal information including Social Security number. This information is only used to process the CSS Profile application on behalf of the college or institution you’re applying to and is only shared by College Board with colleges and scholarship organizations that a student designates on their CSS Profile.
