Calculate Your Costs (EFC, NPC)

When you use the expected family contribution (EFC) calculator, we collect personally identifiable information to determine if you’re dependent or independent, including an estimate of how much the student’s family will be expected to contribute for the year and insight into the student’s financial aid eligibility. You can save this information to your College Board account, but we do not use it for other purposes. The EFC calculator may be used without signing into a College Board account.

College Board's Net Price Calculator (NPC) lets colleges and universities give its prospective students an estimate of what they'll pay for attendance. When you use the Net Price Calculator (NPC), we collect limited personally identifiable information to estimate the net cost of attending a specific college. You can save this information to your College Board account and may choose to email a link of your results to your school or counselor, but we do not use it for other purposes. The NPC may be used without signing into a College Board account.
