AP Potential™

For students who take the SAT®, PSAT/NMSQT®, PSAT™ 10, or PSAT™ 8/9, information about AP courses offered at the student’s school and which AP Courses they may do well in based on their test score(s) is provided to them. If a student selects a college major when viewing AP Potential^™ in their online score reporting portal, they will also be able to view whether each AP course is relevant to that major.

Counselors, high school principals, test coordinators, district officials, and state department of education officials can access the College Board AP Potential tool. This free, web-based tool allows schools to generate rosters of students likely to score a 3 or higher on a given AP Exam based on their performance on the PSAT 8/9, PSAT 10, PSAT/NMSQT, or SAT.
